About The Mission Entertainment

The Mission Entertainment is a management/production company representing and working with content creators with unique and distinct voices who have a conscious, informed and aware viewpoint of the world in which we live and seek to share that viewpoint through art and entertainment. We represent the interests of and advocate for writers, directors, producers, actors, authors, activists and those who seek to harness the power of their voice to uplift and support those most marginalized.

About Black Public Media

Funded by Corporation for Public Broadcasting, New York State Council on the Arts, MacArthur Foundation, and others, Black Public Media supports Black filmmakers and content about the Black diaspora. In an effort to increase the amount of Black creatives working in VR, AR, and AI--storytelling mediums in which Black talent is vastly underrepresented--BPM launched the BPM+ Mixers in New York City in June 2018 and BPM+ Pop-up VR Theaters at Essence Fest in July 2018. To date, BPM has hosted 11 Pop-up VR Theaters and seven VR Mixers.
